This was such a brilliant project. I was engaged to create a bold, branded image of the Narrows Bridge that would then become a 7 metre X 4 metre floor to ceiling lightbox that runs the length of the Clough corporate box at RAC Arena, Perth.

As we pulled into the car park under the Narrows Bridge, south of Perth, it began raining and the conditions weren’t quite ideal. While we did get some great shots, I had a vision for what we’d create, and for this application, it wasn’t quite right. Rather than settle, we returned for sunset the next evening and setup again and it was well worth the effort to get it right.

This image underwent a lot of post processing to ensure it fitted the Clough brand, which featured a bold green logo with brighter green branding elements. To create an energising effect, I chose a complimentary purple to colour tone the image with for maximum impact.   

To say I was nervous submitting this image is a complete understatement. Being so large, there’s nowhere to hide. The day finally came to visit Perth Arena to view it and my gosh, it is HUGE.

And bold.

And very, very cool.
