Cam + Lily are such a fun, beautiful couple that clearly adore each other.
I travelled down to Margaret River for their wedding, and the night before, it was absolutely pouring with rain, and it was also forecast for the wedding day itself, so we were all prepared.
I arrived at a beautiful cottage to capture the girls getting ready which was perfect for Lily’s aesthetic. They had bubbly on the deck, chatted, danced, fought back tears, and enjoyed the preparation time together.
We made our way to Lily’s dad’s amazing property, fondly known as Harry Land for the ceremony and reception and it really was one of a kind. So much love and preparation had gone into creating an amazing experience, and it showed.
Their bridal party was epic (7 bridesmaids / groomsmen on each side) and their ceremony was all heart. I absolutely loved every moment, and it was thoughtfully and beautifully delivered by their celebrant, Rachel @thecelebrantlady.
Family, bridal party and couple portraits were all done on the property itself, in front of structures that Lily’s dad had built with his own hands, and under beautiful tall trees. The rain threatened us, but as fast as we’d grabbed the umbrellas, it was gone again – phew!
We managed to get some absolutely stunning photos on the property, and on some of the up close portraits of Cam + Lily you can see a brief, light rain shower – it was absolutely magical, and then a rainbow appeared!! I believe in signs, and this definitely was one!
Guests enjoyed pizza from the coolest pizza van ever – Peace Pizza – warmed up in front of the fire and killed it on the dance floor before some of the most hilarious and heart warming speeches I’ve ever heard.
I had an absolute blast capturing this fun, authentic, and truly gorgeous day – thank you so much Cam + Lily for choosing me to capture it for you!
